Nithya Menon in Queen movie remake

Nithya Menon has quite a lot of projects to work on. It has been reported that the actress would be seen in the official remake of a movie that has had huge success in Bollywood.

Nithya would be seen in the shoes of Kangana Ranaut, for the remake of the blockbuster ‘Queen’. The upcoming remake would be a tri-lingual movie. It would be filmed in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The famous actor-director Thiagarajan has successfully got the remake rights of ‘Queen’.

Thiagarajan says that he is looking for a suitable actress for this film, one who can act well in all the three languages. Being a well established actress of South Indian film industry, Nithya Menon is a good fit for this challenging role. A lot would be expected from the chief character of this film, since the original movie received overwhelming response. The Vikas bahl directorial tells the story of a Delhi based girl called Rani, who goes on her honeymoon even after her wedding is cancelled. It was released in March last year and went on to win six trophies at the 60th Filmfare Awards.
