Thalapathy Vijay and Vamsi Paidipally have joined hands together for the former’s first ever Telugu film which will simultaneously be shot in Tamil as well. This news was announced long back by Dil Raju, the producer of the film.
As per the latest update, Rashmika Mandanna is going to play the leading lady in this film which will go on floors from mid-April. Rashmika has given a nod to this film and this is the first time she will be pairing up with Vijay.
Apparently, the makers were impressed with Rashmika’s performance in Pushpa and have decided that she would be the perfect choice for the character of the leading lady in Thalapathy 66. Sources say that Mehreen Pirzada and Vivek Oberoi have also been roped in to play key roles in this flick. Official confirmation on the same is awaited.
Rashmika has been doing great in the industry and is quite busy with a bunch of films in her hand. She will simultaneously shoot for Thalapathy 66 and Pusha: The Rule as well. Currently basking on the success of her recent flick Aadallu Meeku Joharlu, and popularly called the National Crush, Rashmika has become one of the most sought after actresses in the country now.
On the work front, Vijay is waiting for the release of Beast on April 14th and it is quite undeniable that he was a huge fan base and market among the Telugu audiences as well.
